2018 Panther Pride Auction & Benefit

Mark your calendars! This year’s casino-inspired Auction will be held on a new day, December 1st and at a new location, the Maplewood Community Center.  The evening events include a Delicious Dinner, Drawings & Games , Silent & Live Auctions,  Alumni Achievement Award Presentation, Dancing and more.

Food for the night includes:  an appetizer buffet during the Silent Auction, seated dinner, served family-style. The meal includes fresh bread and herbed butter, salad, green bean almondine, herb baby red potatoes, spinach tortellini, vodka cream chicken and desserts.

But you can help keep it that way!  Volunteer in a variety of ways from set-up to clean-up and in-between.  Help make this year’s auction a success.  Don’t gamble with those volunteer hours.  Get them done!

Presentation Alumni Achievement Award

The Auction is pleased to recognize the 2018 Alumni Achievement Award winner,
Michael Fratto, Class of 1961.  

Michael (Mike) J. Fratto graduated from the University of St. Thomas with an undergraduate degree and an MBA in 1971 and 1981, respectively.  The eldest of the 10 Fratto children to graduate from Presentation in 1961, Mike went on to work for the State of Minnesota in the Department of Employment and Economic Development, consulting, designing and implementing tools in the workforce.  Mike is a lifetime member of the International Association of Workforce Professionals (IAWP), where he has served as the President of local and state chapters as well as a District Director. Outside of the office, Mike has spent his time volunteering with the Boy Scouts, the St.  Paul Serra Club and as the President of Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless (OYH).  Currently, Mike volunteers with the Salvation Army’s Northern Division as a Disaster Services Unit Coordinator providing necessary supplies and emotional and spiritual care for first responders and victims of disasters.

Seeking Exceptional Presentation Alumni!

Do you know a Presentation Graduate who meets any of the following criteria:

  • Exceptional accomplishment in work career
  • Exceptional service in local, state or national affairs
  • Exceptional service in support of the success of Presentation School

Please nominate this Exceptional Alumni for the Presentation Pride Alumni Achievement Award.  This award is presented to recipients at the Panther Pride Auction and Benefit in December.

The recipient will receive two complimentary tickets to the Auction and will be acknowledged during the event. Although nominations are accepted throughout the year, to be considered, forms must be submitted by October 31.  The honored guest is selected and notified in November. Submitted nomination forms are kept on file for 3 years.
