My Favorite Saint: One of my favorite saints is St. Vincent de Paul. Saint Vincent de Paul is the patron saint of a variety of things including charities and volunteers. It is utterly amazing when someone is born into a poor family, experiences such traumas in their life, yet continue to give back and preach the word of Jesus. St. Vincent de Paul is truly an inspiring Saint.

My Favorite Outside of Work Activity: One of my favorite activities to do outside of work would be to bake. My favorite (and most famous) recipe is my Chocolate Chip Cookies!

My Favorite Children’s Book: One of my favorite children’s books is Ms. Nelson is Missing because it teaches you to treat others with kindness and respect in fun way. Plus, I think it would be fun if teachers pretended to be their own sub for the day.

My Favorite Place to Visit: My most favorite place in the world is Disney World, but a place close to home I love to visit is Grand Marais, MN, and hike on all the wonderful trails and see such beautiful waterfalls.

Education: I graduated in December 2021 from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6) and a Social Studies endorsement (6-8).

My Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philology can be summed up in three words: ALL means ALL. Each student that enters my classroom has different learning needs and has a different and unique story. My goal is to help students learn to use their wonderfully unique gifts from God in a positive way that helps them become the best student and person I know they can be. I best achieve this by showing my students how much I love them and that I would do anything to help them become their best selves. As Mother Theresa says, “It’s not about what you do, but how much love you put into what you do that counts.”
