My Favorite Saint: My favorite is St. Therese of Lisieux. I love her devotion to Christ at such a young age as well as her love of nature.
My Favorite Outside of Work Activity: I love to read and crochet. I will often listen to an audiobook while working on a crochet project.
Favorite Children’s Book: Harry Potter is one of my all time favorites. I love the stories and themes that are pulled.
My Favorite Place to Visit: Edinburgh, Scotland is incredible. I love the city, people, activities, and language.
Education: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and English from Hamline University.
My Teaching Philosophy: I believe kids learn best by doing it themselves. My classroom is where students will take books and dig through to find new information that will shape them as people. More than just reading skills, I want to teach them life skills.
